A little about Me
My name is Maria. I am an A&P/IA mechanic based out of Albuquerque NM. I started wrenching on cars when I was 17, teaching myself as much as I could. I went to college for Mechanical engineering and found it wasn't the right fit for me. I left engineering school 3 years later. As to keep my hobby of wrenching on cars separate from my job and to fan a small spark for aviation, I went into the AMT program at CNM where I left with 2 associates and my A&P certificates. I have been working as an A&P in the Albuquerque area for the past 3 years and received my IA certificate in October of 2024. I am also a private pilot and partial owner of a Cherokee 140, affectionately known as Wilma.

Oil Changes
Aircraft engine oil has many uses: cooling, cleaning, and lubrication, just to name a few. Routine oil changes ensure clean oil is in the engine to properly perform those functions.
STC Installations
Is there a feature on your friend's plane that you would like? This could be an STC. An STC is a design approval that allows modifications to your airframe, engine, and propeller.
Annual/Conditional Inspections
As an A&P/IA, I can perform your annual or conditional inspection. This thorough and detailed inspection is an airworthiness requirement by the FAA, and also helps identify any issues that could impact your aircraft's safety and performance.
